Budget Make Up - All under £3

With my hours decreasing at work and all my spare change going into my Camp America savings, it's hard to fund my Make Up junkie life. However, when in town last week, I managed to pick up a few bits of drugstore Make Up to heal my withdrawal.

Revolution Focus & Fix Concealer - £2.99

I was in need of a new concealer, but not wanting to spend £30 on my usual concealer, I went to good old Revolution who are one of my favourite drugstore brands. This concealer has a yellowy undertone which I love, it's not as good coverage as I'm used too but considering the price, this is honestly so great. If you're on a budget and in need of a new concealer like me - I would recommend picking this up!

MUA Matte Lipstick in the shade "Wild Berry" - £1

This colour looks so great going into Autumn/Winter! I had no second thoughts when I picked this up, gorgeous colour, matte finish (my favourite!) and £1!! This would look so great paired next to a gold eye when the weather gets that bit colder. My only flaw with this lipstick is that it is an entirely different shade applied compared to the packaging, I originally thought it was a dark red/purple shade but once applied it's more of a deep pink! Fortunately, I do like the colour when it's applied.

Essence Lip Liners in the shades "cute pink 07" "satin mauve 06 " and "honey berry 15" - £1

Again, £1! The only lip liners I currently own are the ones included in the Kylie Lip Kits which I love and are soo creamy, so when I used these essence ones, thats what I had to compare too. Although Kylies are a tad creamier, they are 20x the price. I love the essence liners, they aren't drying at all! And thats coming from someone with terribly dry chapped lips. The colours I picked up look great on their own but also work well with my Lipstick collection. I am definitely going to pick more of these up when I'm next in town.

What are the bargains that you've been loving recently?

  2. Lovely post. I haven't tried any of these before! I'll definitely be checking out those lip liners next time I go to the drugstore.

    1. Yes you definitely should!! They were in my local wilkinsons x

  3. Great little pick ups you bought! I've always seen Essence around but I never actually bought anything from them. Now might have to give their lip liners a try. I hate when colors of lipstick aren't exactly like the packaging. Thankfully you liked the pink tone to it and the fact that it wasn't expensive at all. Great post :)

    1. I never thought the essence quality would be that great considering their price but they are so amazing. I hate it too! I guess I got lucky this time x
